Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Gloss Room, located at 6311 Bowness Rd NW #135, Calgary, Alberta. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review carefully before confirming your booking.

1. General Information

All services at The Gloss Room are provided by trained, licensed professionals. These terms apply to all clients booking services including but not limited to hair styling, makeup applications, lash services, brow treatments, and waxing.

2. Booking & Payments

Appointments can be booked online through our Vagaro booking system or by direct contact with The Gloss Room.​

  • Accepted payment methods include cash or e-transfer.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice, though all confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed-upon rate.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life happens! However, to respect our artists’ time:​

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service total and may be required to prepay for future bookings.

  • Repeated late cancellations may result in refusal of future appointments.

4. Late Arrival Policy

We value punctuality to ensure each client receives the full service experience.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled.

  • Late arrivals may result in a reduced service at full price.

5. Refunds & Satisfaction

All services are final sale.
If you are unhappy with your service, please contact The Gloss Room within 24 hours so we can assess your concerns and offer an appropriate solution. Refunds are not provided for completed services.

6. Health, Safety & Hygiene

Your safety is our top priority.

  • All tools and work areas are sanitized between clients.

  • Please notify your artist before your appointment if you have any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions.

  • Clients who arrive with eye infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions may be refused service for safety reasons.

7. Photography & Marketing Use

During your appointment, your artist may take photos or videos for portfolio or social media use.

  • By receiving services at The Gloss Room, you grant permission for images or videos to be used for marketing, unless you request otherwise before your appointment.

8. Liability Disclaimer

By booking a service, you acknowledge that you are aware of the procedures being performed and possible risks involved.
The Gloss Room and its artists are not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions due to undisclosed allergies or sensitivities.

  • Damage resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions.

  • Personal items lost or damaged during your visit.

9. Privacy Policy

The Gloss Room respects your privacy. Client information collected through booking forms or communication is used solely for appointment management and marketing purposes. We will never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

10. Policy Updates

The Gloss Room reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
